Westpac statements do not include the year in the date column of the transactions table, this needs to be manually added to be able to import the bank statement's transactions in accounting software like Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks.
Table headers are not always displayed on each page of the bank statement. This means that headers from previous pages are used to evaluate potential matches. This complicates filtering other data in the bank statements such as notices and advertisements, its important to verify the output to ensure no extra information was merged into transaction descriptions.
